For a truly special stately home venue, Hedsor House provides a grand setting with a variety of options for all sizes and styles of wedding celebration. Situated in 100-acres of finely maintained, historic parkland, this Georgian mansion is also an excellent option for couples seeking a high level of privacy.
On the first floor of the house is a beautiful morning preparation suite with tall windows and large ceilings which provides an incredible amount of natural light which will looks great in your wedding video. One of the most notable features of the room is that you’re incredibly close to the central hall so you can hear your guests being seated for the ceremony which is just a short walk away. The front windows which look out to the front of the property also offer potential for having a peek at the guests as they arrive. Hollie’s bridesmaids had great fun reporting back the latest attendees as you’ll see in their Hedsor House film.
I’ve filmed several wedding videos at Hedsor House and as you’ll see, the balcony surrounding the hall offers a great secondary point of view for videography. Following the ceremony, during the summer it’s a great opportunity to have a cocktail reception at the side of the manor where the garden is perfectly manicured. In my work, I like to capture the atmosphere by filming the family and friends as much as the bride and groom, so this is a good time to get many shots of guests laughing, chatting and have a good time.
Following the meal and speeches, usually the central hall has been refashioned and decked out for the evening entertainment. To finish Hollie & Jay’s film I filmed a single take shot which took you from the party to a shot of the house outside which showcases the property as the ultimate party property, which it is!
