I’ve been lucky enough to film here many times over the past decade, and I can confidently say that Hedsor is truly a one-of-a-kind venue. A grand Georgian mansion nestled in the Buckinghamshire countryside, Hedsor House has played host to some of the most iconic weddings, celebrity parties, and blockbuster films.
Need proof? Hedsor has been graced by everyone from Brad Pitt and Keira Knightley to actual royalty (yes, Prince Philip was a fan). It’s also the backdrop of films like The Golden Compass, Quartet, and Mortdecai – because if it’s good enough for Johnny Depp and Gwyneth Paltrow, it’s good enough for your wedding day. And did I mention it was the setting for Mark Ronson’s 40th birthday? Iconic.

Having filmed countless weddings at Hedsor House over the years, I know every perfect angle and hidden gem this venue has to offer. For example, the balcony overlooking the central hall offers a perfect secondary filming angle, capturing those emotional reactions as you make your entrance, even when the guests are standing. During summer weddings, the cocktail reception by the manicured gardens is an incredible opportunity to film natural, candid moments of your guests laughing, chatting, and celebrating.
